The meeting was called to order by David Freeze at 5:50pm at Hendrick’s BBQ.

Tim Safrit brought a proposal to the SRR board for us to consider. Tim would like to establish a segment of SRR that would focus on adding cyclists to the club with the hope that many of the current club members would be interested in it. Winter Flight update and resolution

Things to improve on

Shirts, course, first RC male, brochure-------  We need to manage our shirts better. Some runners, not pre-registered, got shirts while others who were did not. WE should have had plenty of shirts for the pre-registered runners. We need a person at the turn from Park to Yost to make sure that some runners don’t cut the course there. David messed up the first place Rowan County Male and Rori is sending Jonathan Martin a check for $25. Aaron has fixed the brochure to leave out shirts for the fun runners and will add the timing for next year of the awards ceremony.

Wins this year!

Sunday, volunteers, Eliud, 5K, photographer--------Sunday was a huge win with good weather and the biggest turnout in years. We also had 79 total volunteers. Eliud Ngetich was a big positive as the new course record holder. Our new photographer, Brittany Holt, did a great job!

Still to do—NC state records, shirts, Running Journal---------The paperwork for the state records will still have to be filed. David will do that next week. We will be ordering more shirts, especially after we find out what the shirt sizes for the police are. The Running Journal is now caught up with a good story listing all the sponsors and photos as well.

RHM amount—The board voted to give $8,000 to Rowan Helping Ministries. The board also voted to give $250 to Catawba College Athletics and to make Jason and Melissa Bryan (Catawba’s Cross Country Coach and his wife) new honorary members.

Other business---There was no other business.

Next meeting—Wednesday, March 11th

Meeting adjourned at 6:55pm
